How does it work?
Free yourself from the views of others and have a conversation where you can be, feel and portray yourself in whatever way you please… without the burden of appearance-focused perceptions.
Entering from the MetroWest Shopping Mall, you will be guided into a darkened space at VU at MetroWest, and randomly paired with another person. Remember, you won’t be able to see anything or anyone!
Once everyone is seated, topics (ranging from light-hearted to deep and insightful) will be indicated using sound prompts. This will take approximately 30 minutes and you can leave at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
When the experience is complete, everyone will exit to a lit communal space where you can reintroduce yourself to the person that sat opposite you!
VU Psychology Clinic students will be on hand to discuss how you felt during the experience.
